Dear Washington Wizards,

This week at school, we’re focusing on how connections help our community grow stronger. As we continue our Spark Connection challenge, students are encouraged to reach out with kindness - checking in on a classmate, reconnecting with an old friend, or simply making someone feel seen. These small moments of care can make our school a more welcoming, supportive place where everyone belongs and can shine. Remember, it is our responsibility to continue to work on our community daily!

Shout-Outs & Spotlights

Words, Words, Words - We extend a big thank you to the Wyckoff Midland Park Rotary for their generous dictionary donation, which benefitted every third-grade student at Washington. Our students were shown how to use the dictionaries with the help of the Eisenhower React Club. Thank you!

Global School Play Day - Global School Play Day was a resounding success! Thank you to all our families and students for participating and bringing in their favorite toys. It was truly wonderful to see our students engaging in a different way, fostering community and having fun together. This has been my favorite Washington day so far!

National School Counselors Week -  This week is National School Counselors Week, and we want to take this opportunity to recognize our wonderful guidance counselor, Mrs. Lynch! She is a calm and caring presence who shows up every single day, whether she's helping students work through challenges, celebrating their successes, or just being there when someone needs it most
