On behalf of the Washington School faculty and staff, I want to welcome you to the 2024- 2025 school year! We are excited to begin the year and continue our educational journey together. I look forward to partnering with our families to ensure the success of each of our students. 

Our school theme for the year will be Washington is One! Not only are we the first school in town (and the best school in town 😉), but we are also a school that celebrates each student’s background, culture, customs, unique personalities, and learning styles. Despite any differences, we are all ONE!

As principal, I am fortunate to work with a dedicated, talented, and caring professional staff as they work tirelessly to continue providing the outstanding programs and instruction that distinguish us. Our primary concern is our students' academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being. As a staff, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child, designing real-life applications of instructional concepts, fostering the values of caring and respect, and creating an atmosphere where children feel safe, nurtured, and supported.

We recognize that our greatest asset is our student body. We hope they develop and maintain confidence in themselves as learners and valued participants in this community. We anticipate that they will grow to be happy and productive citizens who can work with others and look beyond themselves. Most of all, we are optimistic that they will emerge with the knowledge that there is always room and time to grow.

We can accomplish this by establishing an environment for learning that promotes cooperation, caring, and communication. The construction of this learning environment requires the active participation of all members of our school community - students, educators, and parents. Together we can build a place where children can reach their dreams!
