Our Book Ceiling Tiles part 2! 📚🎨
To close out their time at Washington, studio art students followed tradition and painted ceiling tiles! This year we replicated books for the ceiling in the Media Center! 🎨📚

Today was a great day to share all the work we did on the biomes in KR! After creating the forest biome as a whole class, we broke into groups based on interest to research, create, and present the other biomes- the tundra, the rainforest, the ocean, the grasslands, and the desert! Great work KR!

The students in KK explore and experiment with the concepts of weight differentiation and balance using their very own scales. ⚖️
KK's forest biome mural displays their understanding of the important relationship between plants, animals and the environment. 🌱🦌💦☀️
Over the last couple of weeks, students in KD have been reading in book clubs about various non fiction topics! They write down "WOW Facts" and play musical chairs sharing a fact they found interesting while reading!
Today we took our learning outdoors and the students in KK practiced estimating lengths visually before finding the actual measurement with a ruler. 📏
KRO finds items in nature that equal the same length, are longer and are shorter than their measuring tool.
