KK had a blast working together to build houses of straw, sticks and bricks that could withstand the huffing and puffing of the big, bad wolf (hair dryer)! 🐷🐷🐷🐺





The kindergarteners (a.k.a weather watchers) at Washington were amazed to see that we collected almost 1 inch of rain today in our rain gauge! 🌧️

After sharing the story The Dot by Peter Reynolds, the children drew their own pictures by starting with just a a dot. Thank you Ms. Berwind for a creative lesson during art push-in!

KK put their sense of hearing to the test today with a listening walk and upon returning to the classroom sketched the things that they heard on their walk. 👂🏻

Today the children in KK learned about different types of bridges before designing their own and then using blocks to build. However, the most fun was retelling The Three Billy Goats Gruff using our newly built bridges and puppets. 🐐🐐🐐🧌









The Washington kindergarten classes would like to thank the Wyckoff Police Dept. for joining us to speak about school safety and who to go to for help.



KRO plans and builds a bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to safely cross the stream and steer clear of the troll.




5K explored the world around them to discover how the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere all connect. 🌎 They observed how Earth's systems work together to keep our planet alive and changing!








KR enjoyed academic choice centers to practice one to one correspondence.
