Today, fifth graders tackled a thinking challenge called, "Four 4s." Using only four 4s and any mathematical operation, they created equations from 1 to 20!

KD had a blast exploring the James A. McFaul Environmental Center this week! Students had a hands-on experience exploring nature. Thank you to our guide and our chaperones for a special day!






During reading workshop, KR learned to notice endings on words! After exploring how the letter s at the end of a word can show possession, we were so excited to find this sign in our outdoor classroom!


KR enjoys taking literacy outdoors - sorting "word" stones into word families!





Inspired by our field trip to the environmental center in town, KR started to work on a mural of the forest biome! Thank you to the class parents for assisting us on the trip!
